I do not like fall.

I do not like fall because it means winter is near. The leaves turn beautiful oranges, browns, even reds... this is not a bad thing. I rather enjoy the lovely collaboration of colors. However, a chill begins to take to the air. Sweaters and jackets begin to replace t-shirts and capris. An evening stroll becomes less a desirable activity. An ominous feeling of dread hovers over the last few warm afternoons. The only good thing I can say about fall is that it somewhat eases us into the most horrible of seasons. Winter

There is a reason why I love St.George so much. Fall is about as bad as it gets. No snow. No Ice. No bone chilling winds.

And here is the reason I am hating Wyoming so bad as of now. This morning I awoke to, not a chilly fall morning, no. This morning I awoke to LEAFCICLES. Yes. leafcicles. You see, here in Wyoming this year, mother nature has decided to forgo the whole "falling" into winter and leap straight from summer into FREEZING MY BUNS OFF. The trees have not had a chance to transform in to beautiful masterpieces. No, they have not even shed some of their leaves. But this morning I was hit in the head with falling leafcicles. Frozen leafs. frost covered the ground, Icicles hang from the roof. And to top it all off, Wyoming has decided to show off its famous wind, making it about a thousand degrees colder.


I think I'm going to go into hibernation.
